I have just returned from England and I thought that, over the next few Posts, I would show what it really looks like! Well, the part that I went to, at least.
TRADITIONAL ENGLISH PUB
I went to stay with my father in law who lives just outside a small village called Shere in Surrey. Surrey is a county in England and very approximately (at a guess) one third the size of the province of Valencia. It covers part of the south of London but extends into the countryside.
Surrey is a very wealthy part of England because many people commute to well paid jobs in London every day. This allows them to earn enough money to live within the lovely Surrey countryside where many of the houses are very beautiful – and very expensive!

In many ways, Surrey is a demonstration of the English countryside at its best. There are rivers and streams, the fields are verdant green and some of the villages are quite gorgeous. It is well worth visiting…
